In short, the specs are pretty much the same as the standard collar, except for the upper and lower portions being 5mm longer in each direction to give additional support. The collar's radius is 1mm larger than the original (purely to allow for nice recessed cap head bolts). It fits the same armboard hole as the original; also the bolt hole positions are identical. The arm pillar hole is accurately machined to 18mm, but without a cut-out to one side - that tuned out to be unnecessary when the pillar is held securely over a greater part of its length. The M6 setting screw is much bigger than the original and is positioned so that it does not push the arm pillar over like the original collar does so easily. I also supply a small nylon bush that can be inserted, simply to protect the soft Jelco arm pillar from the M6 setting screw.
Mounting bolts supplied are 25mm long M4 in stainless steel. If you need different lengths, I can get whatever is needed from my local supplier for the same price.
Although I have not yet been billed for the machining, I expect the collars to go out at £44 for the UK; £46 for Europe and £47 for the rest of the world. Russian customers may wish to pay extra for UPS/DHL etc if the performance of the Russian Post Office was anything to go by last time!
They will be available in both natural alloy and black anodised finishes.
