I'm chuffed to bits with this, it's a shame the postage was so high, but I still think it's a bargain........

I'm really pleased with the new PSU, it's miles better than the Maplins PSU and Sbooster I had before.
I'm just debating what to do with the old SBT and bits, I might hang onto them, if the AppleTV 2 is anything to go by, I think once the SBT is out of production, the price will go through the roof.

Just landed these NOS 1955 Russian 6SL7 equivalents, for the Croft:

    Details here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/300743755472...84.m1439.l2649

I'm hoping that these are a bit of a 'sleeper' and will sound as good (or hopefully better) than the, much more expensive, usual suspects (Tung Sols, Sylvania, Brimar, etc).

I've had good results before with bargain-priced Russian 'super-tubes', so hopefully these will be the same. All will be revealed when they arrive!

Fingers crossed, dude. It's a bit of an unknown quantity that one, but as they say, nothing ventured, nothing gained....
