FS: Modified Sony Playstation 1 (CD Player)

Reluctantly selling my lovely modded Sony (SCPH-1002) Playstation 1. But need the money I'm afraid

Many good reviews out there, check out the 6moons one.

In very good condition and working fine. It sounds very good and gives my Shaning CDT-100 a good run for it's money.

It tracks and plays well with normal CD's. But sometimes skips with CD-R discs. This problem can easily be sorted out, but I'm not willing to do this I'm afraid (crap skills)

This item is for collection only. The buyer also gets the chance to have a listen to it before taking it home.

Blimey.. I know the PS1 (to present) like the back of my hand after making games for them in the hay day. And so who would have thought it... An audiophile cdp..! Bloomin ek!

It would be really good fun to try one...

On a none audio but graphics note... All I can say is that it had awful perspective correction and so it holds the birth of the famous Mipping which still adorns games to this day in some form or other.. A total bodge but it worked.

If anyone can get hold of a PS2 Tool you would be in heaven, just don't tell Sony!!!

Wow, would love to have seen some internal shots of that. What size/voltage rating are those main power caps, they look huge!
