On the third occasion i went to see Pink Floyd they were using some very impressive lighting rigs which give the impression they were floating aound like space ships. they also had devices which eminated from beneath the stage which shone laights aand random lasers. these were known as Floyd droids. Whilst sampling rather a lot of single malt one evening i recalled this story to a close friend who inferred that i myself became such a bore whilst full of such cheer he nicknamed me The Floyd Droid. There you have it.
