£22.00 It just needed changing from 220v > 240v which involves moving one jumper.
I must admit the old Jap hi fi units have some style about them , Nice

Indeed ! especially when you consider what us brits were making at the same time ('76)

It might sound better than the Marantz but IMO it looks awful.

This is could be a steal for someone looking for their first step onto the vinyl ladder. It looks to have a decent tonearm too, somewhat reminiscent of the Rega R200 which was manufactured by Acos. I wonder if Acos designed and manufactured this arm for Sansui because the similarities are striking?

The SR222 was well respected in its day. That looks like a fine example.

I prefer the '222' Mk.1..I guess people these days would go for the Mk.V or 'IV'!

Had one of these. It looked really smart for a £60 deck.

Don't know about the arm being manufactured by Acos. It didn't really have the solidity or quality feel the Rega had. I remember one Hi Fi Answers reader fitting it with a Hadcock.

Not sure if you can call it vintage (1995) or classic but certainly is interesting.

£7,600+ and rising with 4 days to go, be interesting to see how high it gets.

Interesting looking isolation feet, at what looks like a great price!

Taiwanese seller, with decent feedback rating.

He has a stock of other interesting bits & bobs too, including full-range speaker drive units that look suitable for horn cabinets.
