Isonoe feet alternative for the SL-1210

The VA feet are excellent value for money and made a big difference to the Techie.

Soz..I'm a technics virgin. Well I was . Now I have one I suppose you could say I've lost me cherry...so to speak...as it were....
anyway said person reckons it tightens the sound up. Trouble is I can't warrant a wall shelf as I have a Gyrodec on one so the new baby is on a steel/glass 'soundstyle' rack.

Not a good idea. You need isolation, not coupling.

Direct metal coupling may work if you had a very solid concrete slab style shelf to plonk the techie on, but a glass topped equipment stand should have "isolation" in this instance.

Quick question re the upgraded feet (all types) - do they make an improvement even if there is no issue with structure borne vibration? My deck is on a dedicated stand spiked top and bottom and sat on a concrete floor. Would I be wasting my money on new feet?

Vibration transmission is a two way thing - the motor will generate vibration, which can travel down to the support and back again.
The stylus/vinyl interface will do the same.

As the SL-12** has no suspension as such a decent decoupling mechanism is beneficial.

Very good on price, and very quick and professional in getting them to me.

I had an issue with the carrier - the buggers didn't fulfill the stipulated delivery time, and I ended up phoning them and complaining in very strong terms.
I expect this delivery hiccup to be just that, a hiccup, as the consignment arrived promptly the following day.

Yes, they make an improvement because they don't just offer isolation, they damp the plinth structure. My system rack is very well isolated yet the Isonoes still made a big difference.
