excellent, thanks gerry. Bm really is an amazing piece of kit, listening to the late great amy w, me and mr jones, the detail, the soundstage and the holographic image, just gorgeous....
Yes, when the green (and red) charger lights are on it is charging. The battery must be in the ON position before the green light will come on on the charger. Bit counter-intuitive really...

Thanks Jerry and Adrian. Have it figured out with your help. Bit worried about that 'store it outside' issue. Seems OTT in light of recent posts; the unit is v solid, not a hint of warmth ever, but Ill find a spot in the greenhouse..... Can't get the difference between the battery sound and the wallwart and SBooster sound, maybe a bit more width in soundstage with the battery?? The SBooster is a great refinement to both the BM and my Bantam Gold (I have 2). To these old ears the battery betters the wallwart by a bit, but not when the SBooster is added. Could go a bit doolaly comparing.........now have 2 weeks to enjoy everything again, 1st to last track complete on all my old fave cd's, then holliers and no music, just the kindle...
So let me get this straight........if I just added the S Booster I get a better sound, but if I then used it with a battery supply, it negates any improvement?

Listening in a Foo free Zone...
Only a Sith deals in absolutes.
Mine arrived yesterday. I'm burning it in a while before a proper listen. I have the SBooster on order as well so i'm looking forward to next weeks listening !
