Thought about it as the iron is quite impressive for an EL84 amp. Wiring is very neat too. I decided to go for another amp as solving hum issues can be a PITA.Originally Posted by Jonboy

yes, quite good value really. I recently heard a pair of williamson amps pitted against a pair of Mullard 5-20's and was very impressed with the Mullard design. The Williamson's may have had a slight edge of sweetness in the mid range but overall the 5-20's were more accomplished, especially in the bass. So I've been on the lookout for a pair of / stereo 5-20's or 5-10's to use with my Westrex's.That looks really nice, the wiring is very neat and tidy, good size trannie and a good price
A bit rich calling it a turntable, then!
