    Did anyone on here buy this, i would be interested to hear what you think of it as it's looks well made and should sound very good

    Thought about it as the iron is quite impressive for an EL84 amp. Wiring is very neat too. I decided to go for another amp as solving hum issues can be a PITA.

    yes, quite good value really. I recently heard a pair of williamson amps pitted against a pair of Mullard 5-20's and was very impressed with the Mullard design. The Williamson's may have had a slight edge of sweetness in the mid range but overall the 5-20's were more accomplished, especially in the bass. So I've been on the lookout for a pair of / stereo 5-20's or 5-10's to use with my Westrex's.

    I used to build these as an undergraduate - "in those days we were poor" and had to build our hi-fi.
