    Many thanks to you all.
Nah then Guys, don't you just hate it when someone takes advantage of their 'inside track' and skims the cream off for themselves and leaves the dregs for the poor old punters .
Seriously Jerry, well done for your efforts and your trust in your fellow members - much appreciated .

    Guilty as charged, m'lud.

This time I just kept a DG LP of Christian Ferras (one of my fave violinists) in Brahms violin concerto and an EMI LP of du Pre in the Schumann and Saint-Saens 1st cello concertos.

OK - here we go again!

New charity shop haul - all funds after actual postage cost will go to CANCER RESEARCH UK

All at £2 unless otherwise stated.

The "biggie" here is this one ...

    Sheffield Labs Prokofiev LP. £15.

The EMI Andre Previn Tchaikovsky (1812 etc) is also collectible - £5

ASV Vivaldi bassoon concertos - £3

The EMI Prokofiev Romeo & Juliet, Verdi Rigolletto and EMI Mahler 9th symphomy are doubles - so £3 each

Sorry Marco, no Shosty this time.

CONDITION - all seem to be well taken care of, but are NOT Mint. I've sampled a fair few, and would say the condition is VG+ to Ex. A few pops'n'crackles, but not that many - no sign of tracking distortion - I'd expect a decent RCM to give very good results.

    ___

As per previous sales - I'll get them off to you as cheap as possible, then let you know the total cost (postage + LP price).

    Wot?! No interest at all?

Ah well. I'll take 'em back to the charity shop tomorrow and see if we can sell them there!

The Sheffield Labs LP can go on fleaBay.

Soz, Jerry, nothing flew out at me this time.

I like the vintage 60s - early 70s all-analogue stereo recordings, on the likes of Decca, Columbia, HMV, etc, and of course anything with Shossy on it, so gizza shout if you manage to purloin any of that kind of stuff

A new load of donations at the Cancer Research UK charity shop where I do volunteer work.

As per usual, £2 a disc plus actual postage. All monies after postage go to the charity.

It's mostly opera / lieder and I really can't bring myself to try them all.
But those I have tried have all been in Ex condition - look minty but with a few snaps & pops.
If any interest, I can do a more in-depth critical listen for the specific items ....

    Can you see enough?
