    Interesting T/t, but saw too many faulty new ones to be tempted. Don't think they sounded that great either.

    At that price though, it doesn't inspire.

    Yes the LS3\5a's are very good for nearfield listening.

    My latest retro speakers are not exactly mini monitors suitable for a kitchen although they would fit into the original one in my house that we now use as a breakfast room, the kitchen is now in the old scullery.

    A few mates have now heard them and like me are gobsmacked how good they are. There's a pair of really special amps currently in transit to me that are perfect for them.
