£225 for an Ortofon S-series cartridge? It's mono and can only be used in RMA arms that have the Neumann 'diamond' contact cartridge coupling arrangement!

Well, I suppose it's more 1970s than 1960s really. Given the age of your house, I would imagine something that doesn't look out of place would be best. It's not an easy balancing act to make though; we live in a modern house, so it isn't much of an issue. You must have an AGA though!
