Given the number of compression drivers, these could be quite a bargain

I'd be dubious about hooking them up to some big tube amps as the seller suggests as there's a good chance you'll never hear anything ever again.

Indeed, such shit is the ultimate in vulgarity... 'TWAT 1' would be most appropriate for people of such an unfortunate inclination

Bet he had a fake tan and was wearing a gold Rolex, too!

However, your old man was mad not to take that dafty's money off of him. Clearly, having gone in at £3.5k, he'd have gone much higher...

I'd have squeezed as close to £5k as possible out of the idiot, and then spent it on vintage claret, cutsie party frocks and loose women, not necessarily in that order...

Personally, I've long fancied the plate '33 RPM' for obvious reasons...

I agree entirely. What a load of bollocks, Who the f**k cares if anyone has a personalised plate. An acquaintance has LFC as part of their reg. Stands for Liverpool FC. When I pointed out that it could also stand for Load of Fucking Crap, he went absolutely ape and hasn't spoken to me since. Sad bastard.

The figure might have been £3000 (I was rather a long time ago), but my father simply couldn't be fussed with all the bureaucracy and paperwork required to change a car's plate.
