    That is one of the reasons why I'm still debating whether or not to buy a pair of Levinson ML-2 amps. 25W Class A, with an idling consumption of 800W !

    Cables & Sundries: Mark Grant HDX1 interconnects and digital coaxial cable, plus Mark Grant 6mm UP-LCOFC Van Damme speaker cable. MCRU 'Ultimate' mains leads. Lehmann clone headphone amp with vintage Koss PRO-4AAA headphones.

    Tube Distinctions digital noise filter. VPI HW16.5 record cleaning machine.

    Speakers: Tannoy 15MGs in Lockwood cabinets with modified crossovers. 1967 Celestion Ditton 15.

    Yep - I saw that. Bet it would be fab in my system.

    Bit pricey, though? - I've heard of them going for nearer £2k even at dealer prices.

    Generally when you see a price like that it's because they have agreed a deal outside eBay but don't want to cancel the listing until the deal goes through. So they update with a silly price, then if it sells off eBay the listing will disappear or if not it will revert back to its original price.
