3rd amp in a row i've lost, either i'm being unrealistic or there's some people willing to pay unrealistic prices, oh and i fcuking hate bidsnipe shit,

Bollocks to this i'm off to Tesco's in the morning to get my new system, they seem to be getting good reviews lately, i will still have change from £30 for some WKD to get smashed whilst listening to my favorite Kylie cd

But sorry to hear of your bidding woes, give it time...

Tell me about it John. I did get lucky the other day tho, i put an high bid on something the recently that didnt move for 10 days till last 10 seconds before bam silly bid wiped me out..

The lucky bit was an hour later i got a second chance off the seller, as the winner backed out, my high bid then turns into a Buy It Now for my personal use for a period.

Sounds a bit like a dodgy trick to get the max money out of your bid to me. Might be wrong.

Dont you just love it.. nearly 1000 feedbacks 100% perfect & someone goes & gives me a Neutral because of a problem with the CD in which case i wast prepared to send out, their would have been absolutly no point... i refunded immediatly with explination, what else am i suppose to do?.. It's a total joke, now i have to switch my feedback to 'private', why the hell do i bother being so efficient & Meticulous with people!..disheartening, but not the end of the world as ive decided never to sell through auction anymore.

I have placed bids with some unrealistic prices, and still ended up getting outbid . The most memorable one s when I bid U$2000 for a Micro Seike MAX237 tonearm with just 10 seconds to go and with the highest bid price standing at U$1300 at the time. I ended up getting outbid at the last second by the seller Foxtran on eBay. He put the arm back on sale for U$2500 about a month later, but offered it to me at U$2300. I was of course looking to buy it and put it back on sale myself .

I believe I have my first ever true ebay bargain.

Pair of EAR 509's 100Watt mono's. They are old, need a little spruce and a very carefull check over, but I picked em up for £888. The current price- add a zero.

    lol

Pics and restoration thread to follow.

I agree, I'm always wary when this happens, especially if there is a big gap between my bid and one BELOW it. Smacks of a shill bid to get the price up.
