The Technics SL1210 Mk2 on the operating table. The platter has to come off, then 5 screws to remove the cover over the gubbins of the power supply and motor contriol :-
Then the blue and red wires to the Rectifier board need to be located, they are attached to two posts :-
Threading the DC input wire from the Kab PS1200 :-
Then tie a knot in it, innit ? This is for strain relief :-
Now, snip snip, sorry don't have three hands for the photo and cutting at the same time :-
Now wrap the DC input wires around the AC (yes!) input posts of the rectifier board.
A little dab and your done (of solder that is) :-
You'll notice the original blue and red are still there, it can be reverted to stock later.
It took me about 1hr all up, Someone used to this kind of work would do it in less then 30 minutes, no worries
