Marco, can you do us all a great bit favour and slap a padlock on this one, or better still shred the entire wretched thing?

Mmmm... I appreciate where you're coming from, Frank, but a padlock is unnecessary at this stage, and something we're loathe to use, unless under exceptional circumstances.

Besides, I've still to reply to Alfie, and it would be rude not to do so, after the time he took to write his earlier post!

On second thoughts, Alfie, no offence, but I think that enough has been said, so dude, let's leave it there

There's no need to lock the thread, though (I hate locking threads), so let's just let it die a natural death, and end things on a positive note, by reading the words of gratitude being extended to AoS (and pfm) by Wammers:

    http://www.hifiwigwam.com/showthread.php?57170-Pfm

No worries, guys. It's important that all the UK audio forums always try to help each other. We wish Wigwam and its members all the best, and hope that the future of your community is a bright one!

Play nice(ish), you cnuts (typo intended), and try and give James a quiet life!!

Anyway, see all yooz daftees next year at Scalford!

    Laters,
    Marco.

As a neutral observer the words Toys and Pram come to mind. In my view never was a possibility of Wam closing. Reading the new AUP and list of moderators I note this is followed by the announcement that the Forum is being registered as a Limited Company. Smacks of a commercial money making exercise rather than a hobby/service on the part of the owner. Lets put it this way he had no real intention of letting go of this baby. Also posted earlier of owning 'rights' to the Scalford show. Hardly lines up with the idea of a co-operative of hi-fi enthusiasts coming together.

Have to say, never heard of this "WigWam" thing before reading this 32 page epic. As a first time poster, may I ask - Was it really anything to do with Red Indians???

Or just an excuse for folk with too much time on their hands to continually "Bitch slap" each other?
