Until now I'd only ever seen a copy of an advert for one of these early Leak amps.
I was surprised at the simplicity underneath and love the fact it's all triode too.

I'm not too worried about high voltage AC shocks Martin, it's DC that is a far worse proposition! With AC you can let go, but DC locks you onto it due to muscle contraction just the one way

Only fools would think to use it before it was checked, rewired and serviced by a competent person.

Yup, from a historical point of view, it would be a great piece to own. I think the final price will be considerably more than what it is currently...
The valves alone are worth about £600 (or more, if they test good and have original boxes)!

Clark, there are exposed connections on the back of the PSU choke! That will be DC & possibly 300V+. I do appreciate old kit but i also like a tipple, drink & that amp just won't mix unless it's severely modified so there is no possible chance of electrocution
