Thanks for asking that Marco! I did suspect it was a achromat with the centre label removed. The DP-80 was a generation later than my DP-6000 & built on the strengths of the 6000. One of the main differences was the platter though! The DP-80 had a split platter to help cancel external vibrations & is infact flat & not stepped like my DP-6000 platter.

The Achromat does look favourite though! I just need to talk to Arthur at Funk & find out how they cut/turn them down, then I'll get the centre cut out of mine!

Dust cover mountings removed
Internal components minimised
Intrinsic sorbothane dampening

I usually have the blinds down and the equipment rack is usually lower as well, its been temporarily setup, it'll be rebuilt when the valve equipment and electrostatics arrive in the next 2-3 weeks

Well I must admit I buggered up the aluminium chasis the 1st time so I had to scrounge one from my 1200 which I use for spares but to be honest it's not very hard, you just need to spend a little time planning how to install it.
