What's the mat you're using on the DP80? One of the guys here, Alfie, has got a Denon, and he's struggling to find a quality aftermarket mat that will fit the rather unusually shaped platter

    Hi Marco,

Oh….sexy pics? I love a very different kind of them which can provoke me with a sense of excitements, no wet dreams though. Hehe!

The mat is the Funk Firm Acromat on the Denon. It offers a more natural sound than the original, with darker background and better transparency. The SDS mat is more dynamic and lively in comparisons, a vivid kind of presentation

Here is a potential giant killer but badly needs a better arm and plinth. I am going to install a Hadcock GH228 on it, with which the mounting distance is 212.8mm and the L75 arm is 210.8mm.

I have 2 x GL75's in the garage worse for wear, I was going to renovate them and move them on as I don't have enough room in my music room, 1210, 401 and now a 110 all jockying for position, is it possible to build an arm-lead splitter box the tone-arm cables from all 3 TT's go into one box out from there via single set of cables and then into the pre-amps phono stage?

    Hi David,

I think what you need is a switch box but it will definitely compromise the sound to some extend. It is your call, convenience or sound quality?

Nice finish on the Techie, Darren. That must have taken some polishing.
