    The soundsystem was immaculate...liquid bass!!!

The evening was a mutual friend's 50th b'day bash, he's a sound engineer himself so Mr Sherwood didn't let him down...he started at 11 and finished at 5, playing with various MCs and musicians, a real treat, everyone was dancing and smiling

    2 Red stripes & 2 large rum & cokes £8!!!

Always a good live band IMHO, saw them a few times in their early years at Glastonbury, and managed to catch them in Leicester on their last tour, did they have the mini orchestra with them?

You've just reminded me that I need to order the new CD
    Cheers, Will

Wow! Last gig I went to was Chris Bowsher & The Faction, supporting Dub The Earth at Bristol's Arc Bar, a few weeks ago. Chris was fantastic, but the sound system was bad; completely unsuited to dub, the bass was completely lost in a buzz that took the edge off a great performance.

I guess Adrian Sherwood is in the well deserved position of being able to dictate the sound system at his gigs. I'd have liked to see that show

I went to see Chas and Dave's farewell tour at the Wolverhampton Wulfren Hall last week.... they were great!

They played a really long show, which started with them playing stuff from their early days which was quite countrified blues stuff, and ended in a right knees up, great atmosphere, great fun.
