Bargains on ebay?

Very nice except some bloody idiot put blue lamp bulbs in it (the seller says they're LED's, but they're not). They also changed the red LED's for yellow. They also lost the cover for the headphone sockets. There could be more problems with this but the photos aren't good enough to tell for sure.

On the back of the excellent Belkin Pure A/V interconnectors, i recently bought, i was thinking about trying out some of their speaker cable http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...=STRK:MEWAX:IT have any members got any of it and if so what's it like?

Oh my gawd! Here's another can of worms.
They do at least three different types of speaker cable that I know about. The one in this advert looks like the one I have except mine has a braided mesh over the top & was terminated in plugs that can be unscrewed to fit spades. It's 14 awg.

- but I didn't pay anything like £108 for it!
I got two sets of 3.7 metre runs - the first was something under £4 + P&P, the second was £15.

They compliment the interconnects (white!) perfectly & have ousted my long standing choice of cable.

I've not tried the Belkin, but if it's a good cheap speaker cable you're after I'd recomment this-

That price is for two stereo lengths.I recently fitted some of this and I think it is excellent. In the past I have used Black Mambas, DNM and NVA LS3, and this cable is easily as good if not better than all of those. YMMV of course.

I'd put on a par with the Belkin i/c's in the SPPV stakes.

You can have mine for £10 to cover postage if you wish
If anyone wants to pick up free
Mine spiked a bit but think that because I was listening to at high volumes and it was on top of my power amp
I think it be ok for a second system if the system is on the bright side

Cheers John, but I wouldn't have a use for it and I've got unused amps piling up around the place as it is
