....and finally, a pair of B&W no-names that came to me via a mate who used to work in their R&D building in Steyning. They were in monster cabinets & had a big old KEF-style racetrack woofer, some Coles units and at least 2 other drivers. They used to sound great but the tweeters were very easy to fry!

Sony ??? APM drivers (sounded nice in the shop, crap at home)

JR Sub (passive sub with it's own amp, it filled in where the kef's left off, i wish i still had it)

Bose Acustimass (my missus like them, need i say more)

Wharfedale Linton XP3 (nice 70's speakers a bit forward in the midrange)

Mordaunt Short MS45ti ( nice sound still have em)

Mordaunt Short MS10's (great little rear chanel speakers)

Castle Kendal II's (gorgeous sound even better since the crossovers got done, built like tanks and well finished)

Yamaha YST-SW80 Sub (quite musical, but way out of it's depth for movies)
