Well i have had a think, yet again
I decided i have a fairly easy way of getting them properly balanced to within a few hundred milli volts of each other. My secret weapon is a 60VA toroidal transformer that will have a new secondary wound on it. All i need is somewhere around 1.7V but at 29A which is within the 60VA rating.
Looks like i'll soon find out how many turns per volt i'll need & then i'll wind a load of 0.9mm enamelled copper wires in parallel to give me the correct current rating...
