Default Repairing a Marantz PM6010OSE amplifier

Does anyone have any experience of repairing this amplifier? Specifically the input rotary switch is faulty and is causing drop-outs and farting noises. I'm hoping it's just a case of getting some deoxit into the switch innards but have no idea how accessible it is.

System 2: Marantz M-CR610, JPW Gold Monitors, Chord C-Screen speaker cables, NAS drive.

In case anyone else should need to do so in the future, it's actually pretty easy and a squirt or two of deoxit does appear to have solved the problem (although I'll need to leave it running for a bit longer to be certain). What was surprising to me was that although the input selection dial is on the front left of the amp, the selection dial just pulls or pushes on a thin strip of metal encased in a flexible plastic protector which actuates the actual selector switch at the rear right of the amp. I guess this keeps the audio circuitry further away from the mains transformer (which is just behind the input selection dial). Cool!

Glad to see you have sorted the problem. Aerosol switch cleaner is relatively inexpensive, so it always a good idea to have some 'just in case'.
