Indeed, and neither have RRs... Fit only for tasteless, fat-bottomed fools in Dubai.

Unfortunately what we like is no longer relevant, we're not their target demographic. The R&D departments of these manufacturers have spent millions, and found that this is the 'style' preferred by the folk who can actually afford them.

I see BMW and Audi are going the same way, and there will be others. They will all end up looking like you can't tell if they're moving forwards or just reversing really quickly

Luckily for us there are still enough proper-looking cars around to see us out

Yes, as tasteless as a blingy penthouse in Dubai. Chances are they won't actually drive them either.

Indeed, although I'm not into the (near-identical) soulless SUV invasion either at the other end of the scale!

Really? I drove round Halewood recently and there's hardly any evidence of car factories round there - though there was a big one many years ago - much earlier times.

Is that the place you pass on the way to the airport? I'm going back to the 90s, probably gone now. You'll probably see a few cars down there, abandoned and burnt out.

Yes it's on the main road as you come in from the direction of Runcorn. Used to be Ford's. Goes on for about a mile you can't really miss it.
