Not quite sure how to describe tonight's meal. It's a sort of goulash made from diced chorizo, chic peas, red kidney beans, onion and tomato sauce (a cross between passata and a purée), on a bed of spaghetti with some vegetables.
As it is neither a Hungarian goulash, nor an American goulash (as I have used spaghetti on this occasion, not potato, nor cooked the pasta in with the sauce ), I think I'll call it a "goose-slosh". Even more of a misnomer as it doesn't contain goose meat!
Fresh watermelon for dessert, and all washed down with a 2022 L'Épiphanie de Bordeaux.

Looks pretty decent to me, although it's not a combination I've ever had. One of Del's favourite things is chick peas - she eats them out of the tin like sweets!

Lunch was a salt beef sandwich using seeded granary bread with mayonnaise in place of butter. And a bottle of Stella lager to drink.
No pictures as I'm sure you know what a sandwich looks like, as well as a lager bottle.

Just totally made up and way better than expected to be quite frank. And quite a bit left, too
