I'm not aware of a time when Bolan went solo, or do you mean when he shortened the name to T.Rex, starting with Ride a White Swan? I know you're not exactly a fan of "Electric "Warrior", which happens to be the first album I ever bought, and still play today
I did also have "A Beard of Stars" back then, but I haven't heard it in 50-odd years and I'm not sure what I'd think about it now.

Never been heavily into this band, I only ever had 'In Rock' and 'Machine Head' on vinyl.
Got 'Made In Japan' only a few years back and slowly coming to terms with why so many people rate it.
