Well a lot has changed since the last update of some 12 year to this post, apart from the lack of dusting before taking pictures olice:.

Currently listening system is only digital into LEAK TL 12 Plus, third version in metallic-grey colour, a tube preamp that I bought many moons ago (can't remember where from (real old age memory loss kicking in), some Altec 604-8gs in original 612c cabs with Werner Jagusch crossovers.

    DJ system: two 1210mk5s, Rane Mp2016, Xp2016

Feeding into Rane crossovers into Rotel Amps (these are being replaced soon)

2x JBL 2225J in cinema cabinets, Horns are pioneer TAD copies. 600hz crossover (300hz horns) with TAD td-4001 mids and Coral h-105 tweeters

Welcome back David! When I saw your forum name I thought maybe you were a fan of the Tord Gustavsen Trio.

Close, I previously ran my own company under the boring umbrella, the idea was originally from John Cage and his quote about boredom suggests extending the experience: "If something is boring after two minutes, try it for four. If still boring, then eight. Then sixteen. Then thirty-two. Eventually one discovers that it is not boring at all".

Visited Helsinki a few years back.

Took a ferry from Tallinn to Helsinki…..wow, what a great visual entrance to a country.

Lovely place it is, along with the surrounding countryside I managed to see.

Was told by some locals to expect four seasons in one day! Even in summer…..

I gather there is a vibrant hifi scene in Helsinki.

I too visited Finland and Estonia a few years ago. Loved both Helsinki and Tallin and found both countries welcoming and friendly.
