    Bentley Rhythm Ace!

I used to have a tape of them. It was just two brummies who were lathe turners - or some similar brummage type job.

So pleased I kept these compilation tapes. I haven’t played many of them for 20 years + and the memories have come flooding back. So many great tunes , and indeed bands, that I had forgotten about. As a bonus, there are some amazing rare and exclusive mixes of songs I know and love. Like a kid in a candy shop here

I remember hearing a Bentley Rhythym Ace album which my mate raved about. I didn't like it at all, and there were a lot of 'boinng' noises like a spring, just sounded stupid and not at all trippy.

The other tape with Chemical Brothers, Underworld etc much more my thing.

T/T: Inspire Monarch, X200 tonearm, Ortofon Quintet Blue. Phono: Project Tube Box CD: Marantz CD6006 (UK Edition); Amp: Musical Fidelity A5 Integrated.
Speakers: KEF Reference 3, REL T9i subwoofer. Cables: Atlas Equator interconnects, Atlas Hyper 3.0 speaker cables
