    Agreed - it's a superb direct drive TT. It's the only one I would consider buying.

    It's not really a step up, as I also have a Denon DP-80 and a Sony TTS-8000, both of which are pretty much as good but in slightly different ways.

    I'm in a similar position in that I have several TT's and use them for different musical presentations. I've one for Jazz / MONO duties, another for heavy metal/Prog and another for general charity shop finds. They are do a good job but just differently.
