Hi
I could not find anything under 3mm in draught weather strips. Clark Rubber has stores on the Gold Coast.

I got the closed cell foam tape in 0.8mm, its quite thick and i am not sure if it would compress much once i screw the tweeter to the frame. It has a good rating. I am not sure whether to just attempt to see how much it compresses however i am worried about the fine copper wire breaking as i don't have much left on the dome as you can see.

In the Tesa range there is some 0.2mm tapes at Element14 , example to carpet adesive, maybe not suited to this purpose.
Speaker business gasket tape not sure of the thickness.

The MS polymer Silicone i tried it and it was a bit messy hence the patches on the copper dome.

the copper dome

The old tape, very thin but could have been compressed with screwed to the tweeter and frame

The frame with the new closed cell tape - maybe it will compress more under screwing

the copper dome frame which sits on the tweeter, the extra thickness of the closed cell tape, again hopefully will compress. I can't test as i am afraid to break what's left if the super fine Litz wire. I plan to use old earphone wire or 32awg ptfe wire, but it could be too thick.
Thanks Sam
