A view of the preamps interior:
As you say, a beautifully neat layout and construction.

Review here of the Holo audio KTE pairing over on Audiocircle?

Agree with this regarding the sound quality, there’s some synergy magic going on here, massive step up over the Topping preamp with the May Dac.
Another great video review as well,

Good stuff mate, glad it’s hitting the spot.
“Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of fuel. Sentimental people call it inspiration, but what they really mean is fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio”

Forgot to post these,
The preamps sounding great, more to come when it fully runs in.
Great match with the May KTE dac, really is an open window letting the Dac show what it can do.
Compared to the Topping Pre90,
out with the old in with the new.
And in place in the rack with the other Holo Audio gear
Amps and digitals done.

I'm James.
The Serene looks fantastic build quality. I am sure you certainly get your money’s worth with any of their gear. Definitely looks a great match for the rest of your Holo Audio equipment.
The relay driven volume knob is... sublime.
1dB increments apparently.
The "CLICKS"...
Every review of the thing comments on it, adjusting volume from ascross the room with the remote is (Yes, Im very sad!) extremely satisfying...

It's the details that make the difference. :-)
