This thing frightened the bejeezus out of me as a Kid, based on a Lincoln Continental I think?
The idea of an "evil" car not being able to enter an Indian burial ground had me up at night.

Mind you, didn't help I was reading The Exorcist at the same time

I was probably being a bit too dogmatic when I said I have no interest in vintage cars. I should have said "very little interest", as I have always liked the AC Shelby 427 Cobra, as featured in the 1976 film 'The Gumball Rally'.

Carmen Jones (1954)

A modern day version of Bizet's opera 'Carmen', starring Harry Belafonte and Dorothy Dandridge.

The Great Escape (1963)

The Theory of Everything (2014)

M*A*S*H (1970)

I have seen all of the above before, often several times, but the following are quite recent and entirely new to me:

Under the Skin (2013)

This dark, esoteric tale follows a mysterious femme fetale (Scarlett Johansson) who preys on unsuspecting local men in Scotland. Johansson is mesmerising as the red-lipped siren who lures her suitors to a nondescript van to meet a horrific fate worse than death. One of the most enigmatic and disturbing films I have seen in a long time.

The Northman (2022)

The Northman is an epic revenge thriller, that explores how far a Viking prince will go to seek justice for his murdered father. A highly convoluted plot that mixes Viking history with Nordic mythology, I found it hard to follow, especially as there are a host of characters and it is largely filmed in 'murkovision'.

Must have seen it a dozen times at least but it's about the only worthwhile thing that is on this afternoon.
