I'm sort of tempted by the Musical Fidelity M6 Vinyl phono stage, which retailed at about £1400. But I just can't be arsed. Be nice if you could turn up in person, but it looks like it'll be online only. Plus it's too far away.

The guide prices seem way off to me. Some are way too high - £60 for a dusty old Audiolab tuner you could find on the kerb? £300 for a good condition SL1210 Mk2 when they go for £700 plus all day on ebay?Originally Posted by Pigmy Pony

Yeah, at the end of the day it comes down to what anyone who can be arsed bidding is willing to go to. I really would be interested if you could bid in person and it was nearer.

Yes if it was local I would go along and maybe take a punt at some of the lots. I didn't go through the details but I think the fee is 24 percent. But if you only pay £20 that's just an extra fiver.
