    I used to have an album of theirs called "The Faust Tapes" (we all did). It was only 49p. That was about 1973, I bet a decent copy these days will cost a fair bit more.
    I just dropped in, to see what condition my condition was in

    Yes that is the one I , the other is Faust IV.
    The Faust tapes is, to my ears, just a collection of odds and ends; probably released to fulfill contractual obligations. But whatever the reason I find it interesting listening, though not something I would play frequently.

    Today the LP will set you back anywhere between £25 and £60!

    That is how I remember it, though it must be nearly 50 years since I last heard it. There were a few vinyl "bargains" about in the 70s, another being a reggae sampler record on Virgin called "The Front Line", which was just 99p. Also Pink Floyd's "Relics" was only 99p.
