Default Fixing ther unfixable? well nearly!

Recently finished a very interesting amplifier Lumley ST70 which sported some delightful interference issues. Hums/buzz's and some faux par's made via other third party 'experts' Took quite a while to work through this unit, however the client was a very happy chappie afterwards.

"I was ready to sell by Lumley ST70 as every tech that looked at it failed to figure out why it was not playing ball. I luckly found Tony and he offered to investigate and I am glad he did. I have just had it back after he meticulously went through everything finding so many micro issues that others failed to spot." "This amp is now less than a day in and it is sounding amazing. Tony I cannot thank you enough for taking the time not only with the amp but with me and the gracious way you have shared your knowledge. You have kept me informed every step of the way and it has been a pleasure to deal with you.I highly recommend Tony and his team, they have worked a miracle for me and I am immensely grateful."

Some great Lumley products, I had the M120’s for many years partnered with the great Audio Research LS7 preamp. The ST70 and M120’s had quite a following thanks to John Jeffries resurrecting Ray Lumley’s designs and introducing them to dealers who were open to valves in a very transistor dominated hi-fi arena. The M120’s if biased sensibly could see the 6550 valves last a good couple of years whilst still producing great dynamics and beautiful midrange!
Life long music lover and Hi-Fi enthusiast for over 40 years, avid live music supporter, dismayed by the current dynamic ticket pricing applied to so many events !!
