It's OK, but not much more than that. Picked up a copy for 50p so can't complain.
A - 2002 - Hi-Fi Serious. This is a seriously great album!!!
It's also easy to find being the first title in the rock, pop and folk sections of my collection.

I don't like Steve Coogan, don't follow any of his characters, so was unaware of the connection. My opinion of the CD is based purely on what I hear on the disc.
As I said it's OK, and having bought it out of curiosity from a charity shop it will remain in my collection, but it's not, IMO, a 'must have' CD.

I think (IMHO) it deserves a little more than just "OK." To me, it's an album that bridges the gap between nu-metal, rock and pop punk. The mix of songs contained on it are excellent, the singers voice is very good (really suits the music) and some of the playing is great (love the short guitar solo in the song called "The Distance"...... very Van Halen/ish!!) It will CERTAINLY BE STAYING IN MY COLLECTION.................... there is a version of the album with a CD and a DVD of live footage etc. if you can find it/get hold of it.
