No, CD. But it was only £1.50, haven't seen it that cheap anywhere.

Anyway, Orbital (as well as Chemical Brothers, Prodigy, The Orb, Underworld, Leftfield, and many other electronica) I always bought on CD, as we tended to play them 'after hours', when we were usually too wasted to be trusted with vinyl

The only vinyl I have of that ilk is 'Mezzanine' and 'Exit Planet Dust', and only because they were birthday presents...

So this morning starts with this superb box set from this American musician, singer, songwriter and author. She rose to fame in the 1970’s and has 2 Grammys and 14 nominations, an Academy award, a Golden Globe, 2 British Academy Film nomination in consecutive years, she is an inductee to the Songwriters Hall of Fame to list a few of her many accolades. She has released 23 studio albums plus 2 live albums and 10 compilation albums plus 5 soundtrack albums, with album sales of over 10 million worldwide !




This the 3 cd box set from 1995 covers her work from 1965 to 1995.

As is usual we finish with vinyl and this original pressing release from 1983 and this Englishman’s debut solo album the first of 23. His career includes performing live with Pink Floyd and being a member of Thin Lizzy, albeit for a short while, co-writing the Chinatown and Renegade albums.
