Great photos. Last time I was in one was to fly over the volcano on Montserrat. On Friday 13th. It did nearly end quite badly.

Not a fan of helicopters, too many ways it can go wrong. And when it does it's not just a matter of claiming off insurance. Ok I know the chances are slim, but it would be playing on my mind the whole trip.

Though I suppose without them in films no one would have bothered to buy surround sound.
I just dropped in, to see what condition my condition was in

T/T: Inspire Monarch, X200 tonearm, Ortofon Quintet Blue. Phono: Project Tube Box CD: Marantz CD6006 (UK Edition); Amp: Musical Fidelity A5 Integrated.
Speakers: KEF Reference 3, REL T9i subwoofer. Cables: Atlas Equator interconnects, Atlas Hyper 3.0 speaker cables

    T'other system:
Echo Dot, Arcam A75 integrated, Monitor Audio R852 MD speakers
    A/V:
LG OLED65 G56LS, Panasonic Blu Ray, Sony a/v amp, MA Radius speakers, REL T9i sub.

Which railway terminus is that Roy? Is it Charing Cross? I ought to know, but I don't recognise it from the air.

    Autorotations are fun!

The heli-routes are great! In my helicopter piloting days I flew down the river (towards the Dome) with Concorde coming over me on final approach to Heathrow. The most scary heli-route one is the one that goes right across Heathrow - it's like a zebra crossing on a busy motorway.
