Mid nineties. Been several years since I played them, and now I see why. They're ok, but I reckon I could take the tracks I like from each and just about make up one CD. There's a lot of rapping, which while more palatable than the aggressive misogyny the genre is more normally associated with, I find to be a bit distracting.
The project drew plenty of positive reviews, but imo only worth a punt if the price is right.
I prefer this, which I'm putting on next. This can be had from Music Magpie via Ebay for about £2.50. Worth it too imo.
