Shpongle – Ineffable Mysteries From Shpongleland
    Label: Twisted Records – TWSLP36RM21
Format: 3 x Vinyl, LP, Album, Reissue, Remastered

Listening is the act of aural discrimination and dissemination of sound, and accepting you get it wrong sometimes.

Analog Inputs: Pro-Ject Signature 10 TT & arm, Benz Micro LP-S, Michel Cusis MC, Goldring 2500 and Ortofon Rondo Blue cartridges, Hitachi FT5500 mk2 Tuner

Digital:- Marantz SA-KI Pearl CD player, RaspberryPi/HifiBerry Digi+ Pro, Buffalo NAS Drive

Amplification:- AudioValve Sunilda phono stage, Krell KSP-7B pre-amp, Krell KSA-80 power amp

Output: Wilson Benesch Vector speakers, KLH Ultimate One Headphones

Cables: Tellurium Q Ultra Black II RCA & Chord Epic 2 RCA, various speaker leads, & links

I think I am nearing audio nirvana, but don’t tell anyone.

I had my LP-S cartridge checked and tweaked by Dom at Northwest Analogue, so been listening to a few good albums to see how it is. It now sounds excellent with wonderful clear resolution and open soundstage, worth every penny, and the diamond shows no sign of wear.

I used to have 'Flying Teapot' but it didn’t stay with me for long. Very disappointed, and so I never pursued any of their other recordings.

Well you missed out their, but you could re-visit them, just need the right frame of karma.

It’s less ‘wigged out’ than Camembert or the Teapot trio, but quietly points the way to things to come… I’m a bit of a completist when it comes to Gong so perhaps the wrong person to ask purchase advice ;-)

Long time showroom demo disc, seem to have managed to avoid buying this for 35 years but could not say no for two quid:

    Current Lash Up:

    TEAC VRDS 701T > Sony TAE1000ESD > Krell KSA50S > JM Labs Focal Electra 926.
