And I really shouldn't be describing the Angel Gabriel as a "bird" In fact if she came up to me in a bar I'd probably run away.

Archangel Gabriel is a bloke so probably for the best.Wasn't that a song by Desmond Dekker?
I never knew the cover was a painting of the Annunciation either. Always assumed it was just the result of too much acid.

I'd always assumed it was the result of just the right amount of acid
Anyway, I've learned some stuff tonight, which is nice. And in the morning I'm going to google Annunciation, unless I get distracted and forget.

I have this filed under 'S' in my general section for two reasons, firstly I have a few of his records, not all of which are Jazz, so they are all together. Also, there is so much Jazz infused Funk, Prog, Blues etc. where do you draw the line ? For me, I keep my separate Jazz section for trad, and anything else, say Sun Ra, John McLaughlin etc. goes in with everything else.Where do you file this? Mine is filed under "Jazz", but it's not obvious where it should go.
