i enjoyed the beer when I was there, especially as you most folk drank it in smaller measures, 30cl I think from memory, when I came home struggled with pints was always flat by the time I finished it.

Interesting - when I visited the Munich Oktoberfest many years ago (which surprisingly is not held in October), all the beer (that is lager) was served in 'steins' which are about a litre in volume; roughly 1 and 3/4 pints. We had no problem drinking such volumes.
