    £850!

Paid £175 for mine and it doesn't have those scratches. Okay that was a few years ago but I can't believe they have risen in value that much.

It's a good pre-amp (using mine right now), has a ton of features and it looks good too. Total antithesis of the modern bland/minimalist stuff.

Really they are under-priced. In a sane world it would fetch that amount but I think it's just not realistic.

I had that set. Well made, but nothing special soundwise.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

A trend from the US - someone grades your record and seals it, like they do with collectable old baseball player cards. And suggests a value five times higher than it would have been.

Can't see it catching on myself...

Just spotted these NOS 'Vernitron' MM cartridges on ebay. I seem to recall these and a Sonotone version, they were based on a Goldring design, G800 maybe? Look like a good investment for anybody wanting to give MM carts a whirl for not much money.

And, a rare vintage ADC 660EX cartridge looking decent and in the UK. Induced magnet design and suited to MM inputs. ADC made some of the best sounding non-MC cartridges ever.

Interesting Micro Seiki MR-111 belt drive turntable in Manchester. It was a high quality budget job, on a par with the Pioneer PL-12D, but much rarer. Nice little item!
