    Actually I think the official line was that God put them there deliberately to test our faith.

    A T Rex skeleton sold for six million dollar not that long ago, saw a programme about it.

    There's commercial archaeologists out there looking for more to dig up and sell. Ofc they all think they're Indiana Jones.

    There's a market for other dinosaurs too but not for that kind of money. Some bloke had a diplodocus that took years to shift. There's no Autotrader equivalent for dinosaurs.

    When I was a kid I found an ammonite fossil in the river. Probably wasn't worth much, but it would be fifty-odd years older now, so...

    I have a trilobite fossil, I picked up in southern Tunisia. Not sure where it is now - Happy had a tidy up, so it could be anywhere!

    Good job it's a fossilized one, the live ones gave Captain Kirk a lot of bother.
