I finally found a smart automatic dress watch at a reasonable price. Not a top brand but a non-Swatch Group owned traditional Swiss brand with a slim exhibition case which I'm pleased about.

Hmmm - I prefer the Forsigning with its lack of numerals over the Edox. Looks a little 'classier'.

What is the purpose of the second, smaller dial?

Although the watch has a sweep second hand the inscrutable chinaman who made it felt it needed a sub dial showing the seconds to!

Not a bad automatic dress watch for the twenty odd quid I paid for it.
