The first and second were both Glen Ord , the same whisky but with different abv and finish, nearly bought the second one very limited bottling. All the whiskies were from independent bottler Morrison , I did buy the second last one which was pleated but not too much, Mac Tale Mara. My least favorite was the Old Perth which was a surprise , just found it a bit sweet for my taste.

early dram tonight.... lochlea harvest edition... was very good and next time they bring it out i will revisit it if im still around... supposed to be an annual thing.

2019 B by Fonbadet, Bordeaux



From a fourth-generation-owned Pauillac cellar, B de Fonbadet may fall under the humble Bordeaux label, but it’s intensity and complexity leave no doubt about its high-end quality. This 2019 has even won the Decanter’s esteemed Platinum medal.

Château Fonbadet is a small, family-run winery in the heart of Pauillac, neighbouring Bordeaux icons like Mouton-Rothschild and Latour. The Peyronie family, the current owners, can trace their ancestry in the region back to the 1700s. However, in the early 20th century they finally bought the keys to Château Fonbadet. Today, great-granddaughter, Pascale Peyronie, continues the family legacy producing many award-winning wines. B de Fonbadet is a classic Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Rich in black fruits with a floral lift, mellow tannins, and layers of chocolate and tobacco from six months in oak, deserving of its 2021 Platinum award.

13.5% ABV Drink by end 2030. About £15 a bottle

Wolfburn 155...dipping into my collection again.

I've a few Wolfburn bottles so time I wipe dust off this one.

This was their 4th small batch and first to get a finish, this in port hogsheads.

Fruity and vanilla rich.. creamy too, with nice honey flavour on back of tongue.
This was like most of theres' about £80 although I paid a bit less. This is my second bottle as I had one before and enjoyed it.
