A new one to me Steve. I have a couple of his LPs. Does he play his 'piccolo bass'?

Well, from what I understand 'piccolo' bass to be, (I had to look it up ) I would say yes. A lot. The album covers a variety of styles, none of which include much in the way of tunes, or lyrics, but does as usual showcase his huge talent. I would say it might take two or three listens to come to like it, though the musicianship and startling production quality will grab you from the start.

If you're familiar with and like Clarke's other albums then this would be a worthy addition. But the more accessible "School Days" it is not.
