Ah yes - now you mention Freeview, I think I saw TCM listed in the Radio Times.

I don't think it has ever been on freeview it's always been a pay channel as long back as I can remember.

Lots of channels are going I think. Been watching Pluto TV which has 250 channels, sort of like cable within cable, and they show a lot of proper telly. Were showing back to back Laurel and Hardy shorts last night.
    Current Lash Up:

    TEAC VRDS 701T > Sony TAE1000ESD > Krell KSA50S > Troels Gravesen Faital 3WC-15.

It was the mention of "Freeview" that reminded me of seeing TMC listings in the Radio Times, but I didn't mean to suggest one could see TMC for free.
RT lists subscription channels that can be received 'off air'.

Something to watch tonight. 'Mr Hulot's Holiday' 1953, with Jaques Tati. Not seen this for about forty years, but I like Tati's films.

It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!
