I lost track of the Stones' output after 'Exile on Main Street' (1972). I should 'catch up' - is 'Emotional Rescue' any good, and what other later Stones records would you recommend?

Not keen on what went before or what's come since.
Exile, Bleed and Fingers are the Holy Trinity of Stones albums IMO and probably some of the best stuff ever done by anyone ever.
I warn you now 'Some Girls' and 'Emotional Rescue' are 'disco era' Stones. I liked it when they went disco but some hate it. Although regardless of that Emotional Rescue is worth it for 'All About You' alone:

Ah - I have all the highlighted titles.
I know what you mean about the 'disco' period - that was a direction largely pushed for by Mick Jagger; the rest of the Stones just went along with him, hoping that the phase would pass!

I used to have a copy of 'Stonedhenge', but only really liked the track 'Speed Kills'. My neighbour in the house I was sharing as a student, did like it. So much so I gave him my copy as he would enjoy it more than me.
